The Blue Wildebeest, also known as the Gnu, is a medium-sized African ungulate. It is an adoptable animal in both Wildlife Park 2 and Wildlife Park 3.
Description[]
The blue wildebeest is a large antelope and one of two species of wildebeest. It is distinguishable from most other antelope species by its muscular, broad-shouldered appearance and a large, robust muzzle. Its latin name refers to its bull-like appearance, as well as its prominent beard and mane. The blue wildebeest is also known as the Brindled gnu after the sound it makes.
The blue wildebeest lives in the savannah regions of Sub-Saharan Africa and is a herbivore, feeding mainly on short grass. They live in herds and are famous for their mass migrations, following the rains to find the most energy-rich plant material. They are a favoured food source of many African carnivores, such as the Lion and Nile Crocodile.
Wildlife Park 2[]
