The Llama is a South American ungulate. It is an adoptable animal in Wildlife Park.
Description[]
The llama is a member of the camel family native to the Andean mountain regions of South America. It is a domestic animal, believed to be descended from the wild Guanaco, and is widely used as a meat and pack animal in its native regions. A full grown llama can reach heights of 1.8m (5ft 11in) at the head and weigh around 200kg (440lb). As domesticated animals, their woolly fur colour is highly variable, although they are often white, brown or piebald.
Like their wild relatives, llamas are social animals that live in herds. Females will give birth to a single baby, or "cria", and will kick and spit if threatened. When used as a pack animal, a llama can carry over a quarter of its body weight.
Wildlife Park[]
The llama is an adoptable animal in Wildlife Park and is available in the base game.
